 MRS MARGARET NIEKRENCE

 

Beyond the River.
Is called the Spirit of Mrs. Margaret Niekrence Crestline Advocate April 10, 1902
 
Last Friday evening at nine o'clock Mrs. Margaret Niekerence closed her eyes in death, at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Klahn northwest of this city, aged 71 years, 3 months and 1 day. The cause of her death was continued afflictions of the heart.
The deceased was a native of Germany, having been born in Hessen Darmstadt, February 3, 1831, In early childhood she came to this country country where she spent a long and happy life.
 
She was a woman of most excellent qualities, being a devoted Christian and a faithful adherent to the teachings of the Trinity Lutheran Church to which she united many years ago.
She leaves three daughters to morn her death, besides a host of friends and acquaintances. Her daughters are Mrs. Jacob Bauer who lives west of the city; Mrs Christian Bormouth of Greenwich and Mrs. George Klahn at whose home she passed away.
The funeral services were held from the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:00 Sunday afternoon, Rev L. Hess her pastor officiating, and her remains were followed to her last resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives. - Crestline Advocate April 10, 1902.
